Very good | Excellent GPs and Practice Nurses e.g. competent and confident. | Communication skills with some reception team, cleaning standards in some areas and how the receptionist maintain confidentiality at front reception, can be better. Clarification from reception staff of whom the appointment is booked with e.g. difference between a doctor and a Physician Associate or a Nurse Prescriber. Patients should be given a doctor’s appointment if asked for a doctor. Booking with an alternative clincian should be patients choice if offered. | August 3, 2024 at 1:05 pm |

Neither good nor poor | I booked an appointment with the dr I chose. When I went to surgery for my appointment and was told my appointment is booked with a clinician I was not happy at all. This has really distressed me. Reception needs to be more thorough with how they deal with calls and book appointments. We cannot always get the dr’s that we would like to see. The call time getting into surgery telephone is immense 30-45 mins by the time u get to reception the appointment are fully booked. Why is this issue? | Patient have a choice of dr? Waiting time on phone, reception to book with the dr chosen and not to be told at surgery u with another dr or clinician. | August 3, 2024 at 8:11 am |
