Good

The GP are great but the Receptionist are terrible only few member of staff are actually there to listen to what you are asking/saying have some respect for the patients. They need to learn the computer system rather than just saying oh it’s not possible when it’s has been done in past by other trained members. Let people finish the sentence and don’t treat non English speakers like second class citizens. Practice managers should have a dedicated email address if they are never available to take calls ,never returned calls your phone call advisor promised as how will someone talk to the manager when he/she is never available. The only good thing is the Doctors here otherwise I would change the Practice for whole family.

Train your reception staff before they are left on the front counter on their own and someone time to time monitor the customer service they are providing and see how some religiously dressed reception staff treat patients who doesn’t speak English and from other religion and how they treat patients from same religion. I saw it on 3 occasions how she just dismiss people who have language barrier when she could clearly see they Doesn’t speak English but she would not call someone from the back who could have translated. If I could do better job on what the doctor has instructed to their secretary (after reading notes on my online account) than your staff who get paid to work there than it’s high time your staff is trained better to use the system rather than just talking to each other while people are waiting in front of them. I hope you take this constructive feedback on and get the customer service back on track.

Poor

Their seems to be lack of care in the community for elderly patients, routine followups for patients with longterm disabilities and illness.

Good communications reference surgery closures refurbishment programme leading to disruptions in surgery opening hours leading to need to travel or communicate with Saviors Rd surgery when I am based and close to Doncaster Road.

Written by son Harish Mistry

Regular calls to check health status. Help with blood and urine samples rather than elderly patients relying on family to do it for them.
