Neither good nor poor | Always difficult to get an appointment with the doctors | Maybe the reception should be friendly and have patience and listen to patients. It isn’t always easy to explain | March 1, 2024 at 10:24 am |
Poor | Based on my last appointment with Dr Shittu, i was actually shocked that the doctor used google to try and diagnose me. He was clearly wrong. He also had the cheek and nativity to say it seems like you you are prone to these type of issues and it’s only after i insisted that it needs to be looked by a specialist and showed my frustration he took pictures and they found that i had an infection that needed to be treated. Had i not shown my frustration i don’t think he would have even prescribed me anything. Sat there speaking about nodules. Personally I’m losing faith with the surgery i have issues which in the last year or 2 have not been fully investigated. Also i’m flabbergasted that the GP would have me taking antihistamines for everyday in my life and not actually investigate the cause of issue. This appointment and just the general issues in failing to identify the root of problems just highlighted to me that attending appointments can really be just a waste of time sometimes especially now if GP’s are referring to google for a diagnosis, I can do the same at home. Further more i was even charged for a letter in the last two years, to have to pay for a couple of sentences is ridiculous. | Stop tackling the symptoms and identify the cause. If you don’t understand it refer me to a specialist | March 1, 2024 at 10:22 am |
Very good | Spinney Hill Medical Centre is a very good surgery. Everytime I ring the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Also the all the Doctors are great. I would highly recommend this surgery. | March 1, 2024 at 10:21 am | |
Poor | Because we didn’t get appointments | Should have 2 lane line, plus should open Doncaster road surgery on | March 1, 2024 at 10:19 am |
Very poor | Simple requests are ignored. Family and the patient are shouted at even though they aren’t in the wrong. It takes far too long to get through on the phone and receptionists are extremely rude and not empathetic ar all. | Everything needs to be improved. Some serious training needs to be given to the staff on how to speak to people and how to deal with their needs. | March 1, 2024 at 10:12 am |
